Michelle Obama admitted to being ‘conflicted’

Aren’t all working mothers conflicted? Every morning the working mother leaves her children at home to make a living, she will feel conflicted. It is a natural feeling and does not mean that a mistake is being made.

During one of her first one-on-one interviews since her husband announced he was running for President, Michelle admitted that it would be ‘very odd’ not having a job to get up to in the morning and commented it was a bit ‘disconcerting’(1). She has wrestled with the decision of whether she should have quit her job and stayed at home with her children. Just because there are doubts in her mind shows that perhaps she has made the wrong decision.
