Should Facebook bring back the old format?

Yes, because... Poor organization creates confusion

Everyone knew and understood the old facebook format. It was easy to use, loaded quickly and had become familiar to its millions of users. Now these users all have to re-adjust, a process which has created great outcry and mass confusion.

There are many millions of Facebook users against the new design, surely this should mean something? I can see people leaving to find a more USER FRIENDLY social networking website, me being one of them!

Not only does Facebook take forever to load now, I find continuous errors occurring!

What happened to all my personalised banners? It took me months to get my profile looking exactly how I liked it, now it looks horrible!!!

The "separation" of wall and mini-feed doesn't really work, because they've redefined the "wall" to include the minifeed; "posts by others" includes, for instance, comments on photos and notes and photos others tagged you in.

Familar, yes.

Easy to use? Loaded quickly? No and no.

The new format is more organized with the positions of the menu and tool bars. The tabs on profile pages allows users to find info easily instead of having to search a huge page for a section. I admit, the feed and wall posts should be seperated, but other than that, the organization is far superior.

The Applications, Notifications, and Chat menus need not load with every page, which means faster page loading. I'm sure there will be more adjustments made to this to make it even better.

** You CAN seperate the wall and mini feed, all you have to do is click "Posts By Me" or "Posts by others" and it separates it out in an INSTANT. In fact you can filter everything now, on the homepage also which makes it MUCH more organized and easy to retrieve the information you want, or just browse.

Seriously people, it's not the end of the world. Give it a chance.
