Lady Gaga is a better role model for the youth of teoday than Katy Perry.
No introduction at present. Why not write one?
So Katie Perry is selling barbie doll
hedonism, while Gaga's teaching acceptance of everyone, dragqueens, homosexuals, people who are not uber commercial barbie dolls. Should kids be taught to line up behind barbie dolls or to love all of humanity in its many shapes, forms and colours. I think the latter is a much better message, than candy-cane underage/teenage sex.
Katie perry doesn't use bad language.
Yes, a bit !
Lady Gaga is a good role model compared to Katy Perry because:
She tells the message that its okay to be different and its okay to have a different style. while Katy Perry is just about her sex appeal, and inappropriate but catchy songs. Most of Lady Gaga's songs are out there, but tell a message, she speaks what she feels, and stands up for the things she believes in, these are good qualities that young girls look for in a role model. Lady gaga also does work with charities and donates money, she's possible one of the least self centered artists that we have to date. Her image maybe be out there, and weird, but she represents who she is and who she wants to be, which all girls should be able to show and make themselves. Even though there are inappropriate things about Lady Gaga, no ones perfect and in comparison to Katy Perry, Lady Gaga is a better role model in many ways. Also, Lady gaga teaches the acceptance of everyone, from drag queens to homosexuals, she says that everyone is someone and they deserve to be treated with the same respect as everyone else, and because of this, this makes her an even better role model than she is!
Katy Perry is a much better role model then Lady Gaga any-day. Although Katy Perry does have a few rather inappropriate moments, I beg to differ that all her songs are about her 'sex appeal.' Songs such as Firework, Not Like The Movies, Circle the Drain and so on are songs that people can relate to. Her songs have to do with almost real life situations about love or other things but they are things that girls specifically can connect to and listen to them when in a similar situation. Lady Gaga, seems to be an attention queen. Arriving in bizarre outfits, inappropriate music videos where she is wearing like nothing, and making herself seem odd or different, how are average teenage girls or even guys supposed to relate to that? That may be who she is and I respect that but towards young girls her songs are not nearly appropriate. Lady Gaga's newest album, 'Born This Way,' features her greatest single 'Born This Way' which is the one song that talks about acceptance and things. Her other songs like Judas, Hair, Edge of Glory, and especially Government Hooker are not songs that anyone can really relate to and are just a catchy tune mixed with some lyrics. Katy Perry's song I believe have more depth into their lyrics and can be a catchy tune as well as an inspirational piece.
Yes, she sends good messages to fans of all ages.
Lady GaGa incorporates messages like "Love Yourself" in her songs. She is also anti-bullying, and she sends a good messages to kids about believing in themselves.
Lady GaGa does not like clothes
Lady GaGa only covers half of her body, while Katy Perry covers her whole body.
um, not in the California girls video. And since when is being a nudist/naturalist indecent, they;re trying to retrieve the purity and innocence of Adam and Eve from before our ancestors chomped on the forbidden fruit.
While neither of them are very good role models, if it came to it, Katey Perry would be much better. If you want to look at songs alone made by the artists, far more Lady Gaga songs are inappropriate, especially her latest song "Born this way". This song alone is very inappropriate, telling kids that they were born gay and that it is okay to be gay, which it is not.
Why is not okay to be gay? sexual orientation isn't a choice, maybe it's not okay for you to be gay and you shouldn't be imposing your personal values on everyone else.
Homophobes tend to be overcompensating closeted homosexuals.
What do you think?
