Our hope is in the Lord

The truth will be revealed. We are destined to know it. Now we see dimly and partially. How we live in anticipation of the full truth will affect our relation to the truth when it has been fully revealed. To what extent will that revelation cause you to celebrate that your greatest desires have been fulfilled? To what extent will that revelation cause regret that you ignored the glimmers and sparks of truth that were competing for your attention? Wasn't it Pontius Pilate who asked Jesus “Truth, what is truth?” What a moment! Perhaps the greatest question of all time being proposed literally to the face of the greatest answer of all time. “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.”
