DO MEN FIND IT HARDER TO RAISE A CHILD FROM THEIR PARTNERS PREVIOUS RELATIONSHIP THAN WOMEN?

Traditionally women are considered better with children. Stereotypically they will love and raise a child whether there is a biological connection or not. Men, however, are seen as a little reluctant unless the child is theirs. Yet, nowadays with divorce rates rising and teenage pregnancy still fairly prominent, the chances of falling in love with someone who is already a parent are increasing. However, do men or women find it easier, or harder, to accept and raise a child that is not their own. And does it make a difference if the child's other parent is still involved?
