No, because... "The Messiah will save Israel, Jesus has done the opposite!!"
The Messiah is prophecized to save Israel. But after Jesus, as Maimonides points, the opposite of this happened. After his death and supposed ascension to heaven, Jerusalem's Holy Temple was destroyed and the city laid to waste; the Jews left Israel and were persecuted for nearly two thousand years - the horrors of WW2 being the most recent, this was largely at the hands of the followers of the Jesus!!
