NUDITY AND INDECENY LAWS SHOULD BE ABOLISHED

If mankind were less prudish about their nudity and, consequently, their sexuality, there would be fewer teenage pregnancies because teenagers would not feel so pressurised to have intercourse when they really just wanted to explore the body of the opposite sex.

Nudity and Indeceny Laws should be abolished

Yes, because... Nudity is a form of self-expression. We are already brought up with restrictions and blindnesses embedded in our society

We need to open our minds to view the world and its inhabitants in their natural state. No other animal is ashamed to show off their bodies...it is humankind who has perversed the course of nature by creating a false aura around the human body. On a warm day, or in warm countries, it would be perfectly natural and would be considered to be common sense to remain naked.

Nudity and Indeceny Laws should be abolished

No, because... it is easy to abuse the freedom

Nudity and indecency laws are a form of stigma, discrimination and indeed an intolerance to the natural state of man brought about by the same proponents of other socially ill ideologies and mishaps. We should embrace a time that brings the fall of all boundaries that govern man's public life discriminately if we are to reach full autonomy as a diverse race. The intrinsic desire to walk around nude may still be regarded as a form of utopia of its advocates.The persistence of utopia is an inextricable yearning for emancipation (Abesour, 2008). Subjectivity is what brings us together in exploring and finding commonality and to suggest even implicitly that those choosing to exercise thier new rights to walk around nude should be monitored lest they spy to fulfil thier pervertions is to encourage the persistance of such a 'problem' by hiding it under garments. If those preyed upon by vision are innocent then they too should be guilty of the same crime. To render the senses as capable of crime is to defy the very nature of perception. Pevertion is a state of mind of those that wear clothes for the purpose of hiding thier nudity, among other things.

---------------------------- I agree fully, but would also add that a freedom can't be abused, only exercised... unless you're the type of person who wishes to remove freedoms from others; that's an abuse. How is someone looking at another person perverted? How does the addition or subtraction of clothing effect that premise? Our government puts cameras all around in public spaces to spy on the innocent... is our government perverted? Certainly our government abuses freedom. People walking around nude is no harm to anyone.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The existence of such perversion would surely die away as public nudity increased. Arguably it only exists now because of the stigma surrounding the human nude that has sprung up over the past centuries. If that stigma goes away, then logically, so does the perversion.
There is one obvious problem to this proposal; perverts. If we were all to wonder around naked, people would have the opportunity to abuse the situation. Even proponants of nudity and those who set up nudist camps are mindsul of the fact that new joiners need to be monitored to ensure that their intentions are correct. In society at large such monitoring cannot take place, there are too many people and too many bushes for those people to hide in as they spy on the innocent.
